  • Keep it

Tell us what stays. We'll agree it before the clearance starts.

  • Move it

Move selected belongings on the same property, where safe and practical.

  • Clear it

Remove agreed eligible contents. Unusual items need assessment.

  • Store it

Off-site storage needs a separate quote and depends on availability.

Garage Reset

A Civic Logistics Service

Imagine opening the door and seeing the floor again.

The bikes have room.

The tools have somewhere to go.

You can walk from one end to the other.

Maybe the car even goes back where it was supposed to be.

That's Garage Reset.

Not "rubbish removal".

Getting a useful part of your home back.

Because clearing a garage is never just "clearing a garage".

  • First you have to sort it.
  • Then find something big enough to move it.
  • Work out what the tip will take.
  • Load it.
  • Drive there.
  • Unload it.
  • Come home.
  • Look at what's left.
  • And do it again.

Or you can show us the garage and let us organise it.

Show us my garage

You take the photos. We take it from there.

  1. Step 1

    Open the garage

You don't need to tidy it for us.

Take a few honest photos showing what's actually there.

  2. Step 2

    Tell us what stays

Tools? Bikes? Christmas decorations? That box you're absolutely not allowed to throw away?

    Tell us.

We'll agree the scope before anything is cleared.

  3. Step 3

    Get your price

We assess the photos and anything needing special handling.

If we need another picture or a quick question answered, we'll ask.

Then you'll receive a clear written price and scope.

  4. Step 4

    Choose your slot

Choose from the suitable availability offered and secure the booking.

Need the earliest suitable slot? Ask about priority availability.

Happy to wait? Flexible timing may cost less.

  5. Step 5

    Get the space back

The clearance is completed to the agreed scope.

We record the before and after so the result is clear.

Don't clean up for the photos.

Seriously.

We need to see the garage as it is, not after you've spent three hours making it look easier to clear.

A few phone photos are normally enough to get started.

  1. 1.

    From the door

Show as much of the whole garage as possible.

  2. 2.

    Left side

Include anything stacked or difficult to see from the entrance.

  3. 3.

    Right side

    Same again.

  4. 4.

    The back / heaviest area

Show us the biggest pile, heavy items or anything unusual.

Two photos are enough to send a request. Four good ones usually make assessment easier.

Take photos & request my price

What's been living in there?

Garage Reset is designed for the ordinary accumulation that builds up when a garage becomes the place everything gets put "for now".

Examples can include:

  • Old furniture
  • Boxes & general clutter
  • Garden items
  • Tools you no longer want
  • Old shelving
  • Toys
  • Household items
  • Cardboard & packaging
  • Small electrical items — subject to assessment
  • Other agreed garage contents

If you're not sure about something, photograph it.

We'd rather see it before we price the job than surprise you on the day.

What stays, stays.

You don't need to remove everything you want to keep before we arrive.

Tell us what's staying and make it clear in the photos where possible.

We'll include that in the job scope.

For valuable, sentimental or easily confused items, we may ask you to move or clearly mark them before the clearance starts.

Some things need a closer look.

Certain items need different handling, disposal routes or separate pricing.

Please tell us if the garage contains things such as:

  • Paint or chemicals
  • Oil or fuel
  • Gas cylinders
  • Tyres
  • Fridges or freezers
  • Batteries
  • Large electrical items
  • Mattresses
  • Rubble, soil or plasterboard
  • Sharps
  • Suspected asbestos
  • Unlabelled or unknown containers

This doesn't automatically mean we can't help.

It means we need to know before we quote.

If in doubt, send a photo.

A price for your garage — not somebody else's.

Two garages the same size can be completely different jobs.

One might contain cardboard, old shelving and a few boxes.

The next might contain heavy materials, paint, tyres or a fridge.

That's why we don't lure you in with a headline price that only applies to the easiest possible job.

Show us what is actually there.

We'll assess it and give you a clear written price before you decide whether to book.

Request my price

No obligation to book.

Want it gone sooner — or want to save?

Not everyone needs the same thing.

If timing matters, ask us for the earliest suitable priority availability.

If you're happy to wait for a slot that fits our schedule better, tell us.

Flexible timing may mean a lower price.

Priority

The earliest suitable availability we can offer.

A premium may apply.

Flexible

You're happy for us to fit the job around suitable capacity.

You may be able to save.

We'll show you the relevant options when we price your job.

Know what's happening before anyone turns up.

We don't think a clearance should begin with a vague price and end with a different conversation on the driveway.

Before you book, we'll agree what we're clearing, what is staying and anything that needs special handling.

You'll know the scope.

You'll know the price we've agreed for that scope.

And Civic manages the job through to completion.

  • Clear written scope
  • Price agreed before booking
  • Keep items identified
  • Before & after evidence
  • Managed from booking to completion
  • Appropriate disposal routes

The best part is the last photo.

When the job is finished, we record the result.

That gives you a clear before-and-after record of the Garage Reset and helps us make sure the agreed job has actually been completed.

Where appropriate, Civic can also retain relevant information about how the cleared material was handled.

There are plenty of reasons to want the space back.

The car should probably live there

Reclaim the space the garage was built for.

You're moving

Clear what you don't want before you pay to move it somewhere else.

You're selling

Let buyers see the garage rather than the contents.

You want a workshop or gym

Start with an empty room rather than a six-week sorting project.

It's just got out of hand

Probably the most normal reason of all.

No judgement.

Garages are very good at collecting things.

Garage clearance across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Civic serves Birmingham and surrounding areas including Quinton, Halesowen, Oldbury and Rowley Regis.

Questions people normally ask before opening the garage door.

Do I have to sort everything first?

No.

In fact, don't spend hours sorting it just for us.

Send photos of the garage as it really is and tell us what you want to keep.

Can I leave things in there that I want to keep?

Yes.

We'll agree what's staying as part of the scope.

For valuable, sentimental or easily confused items, we may ask you to move or clearly mark them first.

Can you price it from photos?

That's the aim.

Good photos let us assess many jobs remotely.

If something isn't clear, we'll ask for another photo or a little more information before giving you the written price.

What if there's something unusual in the garage?

Photograph it and tell us.

Items such as chemicals, gas bottles, fridges, tyres, rubble, batteries or unknown containers may need separate assessment.

Do I have to book after sending photos?

No.

Sending photos is simply a request for us to assess the job and provide a price.

How quickly can you do it?

That depends on current availability and the job.

If you need the earliest suitable slot, tell us.

If you're flexible on timing, tell us that too — it may save you money.

Do you cover my area?

We cover Birmingham and surrounding parts of the West Midlands.

Send your postcode with your photos and we'll confirm coverage.

You've been meaning to do it for long enough.

Open the garage.

Take the photos.

Send them over.

We'll tell you what it will take to get the space back.

No obligation to book.
